Sponsorship and ticket sales are the only two things funding this event, and both go straight into delivering it. That is worth knowing before you compare us to conferences with a very different cost structure.
Speaker travel reimbursement
We reimburse speaker travel and accommodation so that presenting is not limited to people whose employers can fund the trip. That directly widens who gets to teach.
Community and inclusion programming
Speed mentoring, the Women in Tech and Neurodiversity panels, the community hackathon, and the Golden Clippy Awards all sit outside the paid session track. See the community programming.
What sponsors get, and what they do not. Sponsors fund the program, exhibit in
the expo hall, and sit on the sponsor steering committee. Sponsors do not select session
content - the technical program is chosen on merit, which is the reason attendees trust it.
Lead data is limited to attendees who have explicitly opted in to share it.
